Four new multiplayer maps are headed to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 editions of IO Interactive's buddy-buddy shooter Kane & Lynch: Dead Men, publisher Eidos has informed Shacknews.

Set to be released as a free download via the online PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Marketplace on April 17, The Dope Bag map pack will feature four Fragile Alliance multiplayer maps, each with its own unique objective.

Content plans for the PC edition of Kane & Lynch have yet to be specified, though Shacknews has asked Eidos for more information.

Chris Faylor was previously a games journalist creating content at Shacknews.

I hope the DLC includes more absurdly huge trucks with weak spots that you attack for massive damage, and then run the fuck over your daughter who can't get out of her damn hole.

WTF was up with that section?

oh shit man, I agree with you. The first time she was owned by that dump truck I was like "oh shit, thats awesome".... but after the 9th or 10th time, I was so pissed off.

It's gonna be years before Sony lives down that E3 2006 showing.

I don't have any of the consoles :( so it took me a while to see Heavenly Sword. I love Kai's short "massive damage" cutscene.
