Fotos Nuevas de El Fuerte en el Street Fighter 4

7
Capcom has released some muy delicioso images of Mexican fighter/gourmet cook El Fuerte, one of the many brawlers set to appear in the company's upcoming sequel Street Fighter IV.

According to Capcom's official description:

This fiery fighter is a man who divides his professional life between Lucha Libre wrestling and gourmet cooking. His hot-blooded spirit is enough to give even the mighty Red Cyclone a run for his money! Unfortunately, the same can't be said for his lackluster cooking skills...
Street Fighter IV is hitting Japanese arcades this summer. Though no console releases have been announced, it is likely that the game will be ported to both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 at a later date.

Public education and its boring mandatory Spanish classes have failed me.

      That and Google Translate.

No, he had it right the first time, it's feminine. "Foto" is an abbreviation of "fotografia". Also, adjectives typcially come after the noun, so it should be "Fotos Nuevas"

I'd say 90% of the time you can rely on the word ending to determine the gender. There are many masculine words that end in "a" and feminine words that end in "o" so I never feel sure without looking it up. However I've always remembered "foto" just because I remember getting it wrong constantly when I was first learning. Other memorable ones are "el dia" and "la mano".

How do romance languages determine whether photographs have penises or not?

A more appropriated headline would be "Nuevas imágenes de El Fuerte de Street Fighter 4"
      - Uppercase letters must not be used in every word (even if it's a headline).
      - Those are not photographs (fotos), but screenshots (imágenes).
      - Putting the adjective before the name reinforces the idea that what's important is that the pictures are new.
