Def Leppard Talks Guitar Hero 4 Songs

It appears that British metal group Def Leppard may have up to three songs in the upcoming music-rhythm title Guitar Hero IV.

"We're going to have, like, three songs, I think, on Guitar Hero IV," guitarist Phil Collen said on Rockline Radio. "I think Photograph, Animal, and Rock of Ages."

While Guitar Hero IV has yet to be officially announced, franchise owner Activision previously confirmed it is a prepping a new Guitar Hero title for this fall, with Guitar Hero: Aerosmith (PS2, PS3, X360, Wii) and Guitar Hero: On Tour (NDS) due this summer.

How will Activision ensure nobody drums with both arms? I've been pondering this for a while and think it can only mean Guitar Hero IV has some sort of webcam intergration.

holy crap i'm 30 something. i feel old and stupid when i play GH or rockband but i still do. but why the hell are they releasing expansions and making announcements for new products featuring bands that sound really old TO ME? seriously, aerosmith, def leppard. it's like a balding 47 year old's electronic wet dream.

This has already been discredited (by 1up?) and they corrected the story to be that these songs would be DLC for GH3.
