First Set of Alpha Protocol Screenshots Released
by Maarten Goldstein, Apr 03, 2008 4:26pm PDTSega has released the first Alpha Protocol screenshots, showing off the recently announced spy action RPG from Neverwinter Nights 2 developer Obsidian Entertainment.
Alpha Protocol is currently scheduled for an early 2009 release on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

However, it saddens me to see the game taking such a cliche approach to the spy genre. It looks exactly like Mission Impossible 3 or Splinter Cell...a single badass with a sleek outfit and high tech weapons. I was hoping for something a little more grounded in reality. Less action and more adventuring. Instead of shooting everything that moves, you would go around pretending to be people you're not and doing clever deception.
We have enough Splinter Cell knock-offs as it is :(
