Microsoft April Fools' Jokes: Wood Paneled Xbox 360, Xbox Live The Board Game, Wireless Helmet

2
As every company is apparently afraid of making an actual announcement today, Xbox 360 maker Microsoft has chimed in with its contributions to April Fools' Day.

False products advertised over at Xbox.com include the wood paneled Vintage Edition Xbox 360, a monstrous wireless headset, an Xbox 360 console designed for outdoor use, and a board game that is both based on and connects to Xbox Live.

Furthering its celebration of April Fools', Microsoft is currently offering a selection of new gamer pictures via the 2008 April Fools' Day picture pack, which is available as a free download in the Xbox 360's online Xbox Live Marketplace.

Kind of sad when I think some of these April fool jokes are kind of a good idea. Wood Panel xbox? Sold. Bard class in Wow? Sold.

no more Red Ring of Death in the wood panel edition. instead a mechanized woodpecker will pop out hacking the 360 into pieces when things start going wrong
