This is probably a long shot but is anyone in the SF North Bay using DSL via Verizon's lines or even better using DSL Extreme in particular having connectivity problems all day today? My connection has been really spotty and I'm trying to figure out if it's something on my end; usually DSL Extreme is rock solid.

      That's not how DSL works. There are lots of places where your phone lines go through Verizon and it's your only choice. So while my ISP is DSL Extreme, the lines still go through Verizon so it's possible that people on different ISPs but the same Verizon network would have the same problems as me.
