Bully: SE Xbox 360 Patch Arrives on Xbox Live

A patch meant to address freezing glitches and other technical issues in the Xbox 360 version of Rockstar's Bully: Scholarship Edition is now available for download via Xbox Live.

Players will be prompted to download the update when they boot the game while connected to Xbox Live. The patch brings the game to version 1.03, as displayed in the lower-right corner of the title screen.

The delayed release of the patch, which was initially slated to arrive last week, was attributed to longer-than-expected certification times.

That's interesting; I could have sword it was a Microsoft standard to never have version numbers appear in a game.

I couldn't wait for the update so I got 100% completion 2 days ago, argh...well it only froze twice (annoyingly) so wasn't too bad. And if they didn't fix the framerate, then I'm not missing much.

Patch seems to of resolved the crashing issue. Now if they can just work on the frame rate issues.

I've had the game crash twice on me, once after about 15 minutes of play, and then again several days later. I used the clear cache fix and it hasn't crashed since ... I am now many hours into the game.

Obviously, I will apply the patch, and report back.

BTW, this game is great. :)

I keep seeing this in my local shop and stopping myself from buying it as I've got so many other games to play (and have played half of Bully on the PS2 so a lot of it will be repetition), and GTAIV is about to come out... The lack of a patch for the bugs was really helping my self-control but now I'm screwed.
