by Steve Gibson, Mar 13, 2000 3:06am PSTOk, finally gone live with the new server. There are certainly a few known issues to work out which I'll be hax0ring away on all night. Here is the quick list of stuff that will be addressed:
- html recognition in flat mode - spaces in nicknames for userprofiles in flat mode for netscape users - double spaces in comments - account creation temporarily disabled - g{ etc tags showing up in comment topic - usernames with ' symbols. (Forgot that \ in the code, heh) - link back to flat mode from threaded view - message sorting ascending or descnding order - resolving ips to hostmasks in apache instead of seperate module causes slowdowns, will be fixed soon.If you're feeling saucy feel free to report any bugs you come across in the new system. Try not to make any suggestions for new features just yet, there is a HUGE list of features to be added already, we just want to get all the kinks worked out of the current system first. how come you got rid of the "back to front page" link in the threaded mode that was below the number of pages of comments?
i'm a lazy ass and it was easier than hitting the back button...

when you enter a homepage address on your user profile, if you leave out the http:// it doesn't make it into a valid link, instead it queries the user db for someone by the name of www.inserturlhere.com
