Bionic Commando Media Showcases Park Hiking

Publisher Capcom has sent out another trailer and batch of screens for GRIN's reimagining of the grapple-friendly Bionic Commando franchise, this time highlighting the game's AA-9 HIKER (High-Impulse Kinetic Energy Round) armament.

No release date has been announced for Bionic Commando, which is slated to hit PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

GRIN's accompanying remake of original Bionic Commando, titled Bionic Commando Rearmed, is scheduled to arrive as a downloadable game on the same platforms this May.

I am so excited for the remake of the original that I have completely forgotten about this. The video makes it look fun though, I look forward to swinging around in 3d :)

Looks fun. I hope it doesn't have the horrible control scheme of Lost Planet though.

Also, there seem to be a lot of auto-aim.

The swinging and hand to hand (bionic hand to feet to face??) combat looks awesome but the weapon seemed ridiculously over powered and lacked any feedback either audibly or physically on the character. Looks promising though, looking forward to seeing what Grin come up with, really liked their PC GRAW versions.
