EA has released more screenshots of the upcoming cartoon boxer FaceBreaker, in development by Fight Night Round 3 veterans at EA Canada.

The game is expected to hit PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii within EA's 2009 fiscal year, which runs from April 1, 2008 to March 31, 2009.

Reminds me a lot of that boxing title on the Dreamcast... back in the day (I forget the name and I'm too lazy to look it up). Great game though. This could be fun.

Ready 2 Rumble boxing. Except that R2R wasn't really that blatant of a rip-off, and featured more going on for it (Real time bruising and swelling!)

This game looks like yet another shitty 6.0/10 EA cash grab

While I agree, I think this is also supposed to have realtime deformations/bruising.

I think that's the whole point of the game, actually. Hence the name.

Looks to me like the guys getting the beat down put on them have nary a sign of a bruise.

Yup, that's the one. That game was great. And that game did seem to have a bit more style character to it than this one.
