Capcom Drops Horde of New Street Fighter 4 Screens

Finishing off its barrage of media from earlier this week, Capcom has revealed a new Street Fighter IV character and released a whopping 71 new screenshots.

According to Capcom, El Fuerte (pictured left) "is a man who divides his professional life between Lucha Libre wrestling and gourmet cooking."

Street Fighter IV will arrive in Japanese arcades this summer, and the company is currently seeking a distribution partner for a North American arcade release. No console editions have been announced, though PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 editions are expected.

For more on Street Fighter IV, check out our recent batch of impressions. Both galleries show off a character new to the series. The above shots give us a look at Crimson Viper's flashy move-set, while the below images focus on the bulky Abel's fighting style.

North America arcade release... great it'll be $1.50 per play at Dave & Busters. I guess i'll try it a few times but I can forget about getting 'good' at it.

I was never able to get good at arcade fighters until they came to consoles. Just never had the money to blow on them. However, once something was on consoles for awhile, I went back to arcades and dominated. It was fun.

Yeah, it's not really surprising that arcades are basically dead when they cost so much to play.
