  I agree, and the important thing is by the time a magazine is printed on most of those subjects, it's out of date. We're used to getting news the moment it happens, and there aren't a lot of exclusives in the tech/gaming area. Someone might have a couple of screenshots or an exclusive preview of a game, but usually the same or very similar stuff also ends up on web sites, and we've usually already read the websites days or weeks before we come across the magazines.
  
  Printed magazines may still have a place for things like scientific papers and expert views, opinions and analysis, but IMO they are completely obsolete when it comes to news, especially technology news.
