A new update is available for Project Aces' Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation (X360), publisher Namco Bandai has announced.

The patch resolves online multiplayer issues, such as the inability to see when points were lost or gained, and tweaks the damage ratio of certain weapons. For all the details, scope out the full patch notes.

As is typical for the console, players will be automatically prompted to download the update when they attempt to sign into Xbox Live within the game.

    this is awesome:
    # Players will now be penalized for crashing their aircraft, leaving the battlefield and being shot down by opponents in Team Battle and Battle Royale modes

this is good because people would always just crash themselvse when they were on the brink of death to deny the other team points, which was sorta gay

    # Players can now gain points by damaging enemy aircraft rather than making a complete kill in Team Battle and Battle Royale modes

this is also awesome too casue it would always suck when youve been riding some guys tail forever working on your kill only to have some jerk ass snipe him with a long range missle and steal your kill :(
