The first X3: Terran Conflict trailer is now available to show Egosoft's new space simulation game set in the X3 universe. The stand-alone game is set for a PC release later this year.

I hope this one has a less steep learning curve. I bought X3 on Steam and every time I try to play it I get frustrated.

I hope the pacing is increased a little this time around. The sectors were beautiful, but at the same time, the time it took to cross them absolutely sucked

Maybe Nick and his spiffy joystick could get a review copy and give it test run for us. At least then he wouldn't have to play Freespace 2 over and over.

Is this game standalone or is it an expansion for x3? Either way, I've needed a good space sim for awhile and this give me a good enough reason to reinstall x3.
