Burnout Paradise Patch To Address Glitches, Exploits
The patch, version 1.2, will address a number of issues experienced by players in the game's online component, as well as some offline tweaks and glitch fixes. Several exploits, including one which allowed players to unfairly modify the outcome of races by disconnecting controllers, will also be addressed.
Criterion Games said on its website that the patch is "nearly done", though no definitive release window for the update has yet been announced. For more information on the 1.2 patch, check the complete patch notes.

it's sad when console games have patches with that many fixes.
and this one:
Enhanced 360 streaming performance stops instances where the game seems to pause for a second or so.
was in the demo and NEVER should have made it in the final version.-

it's probably not even a full second, or wasn't for me most of the time. more like milliseconds, enough to be noticeable and annoying, but not enough to disrupt the gameplay (well i did crash once because of it when going extremely fast).
it was pretty random too and would happen online and off. sometimes a few stutters in a row, or once every 15 minutes.
