Boom Goes the Nuclear Weapon
by Nick Breckon, Mar 04, 2008 12:16am PSTEver wanted to know what it feels like to watch StarCraft matches in Korea?
GOM TV has read your nerdy mind, and hired Tasteless--the guy who called the matches at Blizzard's World Wide Invitational and BlizzCon--to provide English play-by-play for its Star Invitational tournament.
I wanted to post about this weeks ago after Shacknews resident StarCraft fanatic Blucklesworth pointed it out, but I never got around to it. However, now that the tournament is over, it's a great time to check out all of the replays.
There are some fantastic moments included in the 70+ matches, and with Tasteless pointing out the specific implications of every unit upgrade and carrier drop, it makes for a very satisfying viewing experience.

The commentators do a pretty good job as well; especially after they've finally got their technical equipment tuned right, somewhere around group 5 or 6, or maybe 7.
