TimeGate Reveals Section 8 Teaser Trailer
by Aaron Linde, Mar 03, 2008 2:00pm PSTTimeGate Studios has released a new teaser trailer for its upcoming first-person shooter Section 8, currently slated for a 2009 release.
The game has been in development for quite some time, dating back as far as TimeGate's early 2005 announcement that it planned to license Epic's Unreal Engine 3 for use in an upcoming title. Section 8 is set for release on the PC and "next-generation consoles", which likely means the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

i get to see what i want to see, and the PR goons get to be sure that people actually hear what the developers have to say. otherwise you just have people skipping ahead looking for the game footage and that message you worked so hard on gets lost.

However, the complete lack of gameplay footage, or even descriptions of what they're planning, isn't helping their case at all. It wasn't even clear that Section 8 is a multiplayer shooter until, what, a third of the way into the video?
