Dark Sector Multiplayer Detailed, Pictured
by Chris Faylor, Feb 27, 2008 1:51pm PSTD3Publisher of America has released the first screenshots and details of the multiplayer mode in the Digital Extremes-developed Dark Sector.
Slated to arrive on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on March 25, the title supports up to ten players. The Infection mode pits slower-moving soldier-class players against one super-powered foe, while Epidemic has two teams facing off against in an attempt to assassinate the other's sole super-powered combatant.
A total of five maps will be available at launch, with the game's multiplayer playable via online or LAN play. Following its releases, Digital Extremes hopes to further flesh out the game's multiplayer component with new modes, maps, and other goodies via downloadable content.
