Disgaea 3 Heading to North America in August
by Aaron Linde, Feb 27, 2008 11:47am PSTNippon Ichi announced today that it intends to publish its popular alternative strategy RPG Disgaea 3 (PS3) in North America, tentatively scheduled for an August release.
The newest incarnation of the series features new gameplay updates including the Geo Block, which grants players the ability to alter battlefield terrain to reach previously inaccessible areas. Similar to previous Disgaea titles, the game is aimed at hardcore strategy RPG fans, featuring ridiculous level caps and sprawling, multi-level dungeons.
Disgaea 3 marks the series' first appearance on a next-generation console, and will be localized by the company's North American branch, NIS America.

I'm still playing Disgaea 2, and am currently working on the 'post game' portion of it. What's great about Disgaea is that after completing the normal story there is a completely ridiculous amount of things to do. I've already racked up 10 level 9999 monsters that I've been using to level up my humanoid characters who are more powerful in the end.
