More Actors Announced For New Street Fighter Movie

Variety reports on the latest Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li news, noting that Michael Clarke Duncan and Chris Klein are among several new actors to have been cast in the movie. They join Kristin Kreuk (pictured left), who stars as Chun Li.

Michael Clarke Duncan (Daredevil, The Green Mile) is set to play Balrog, while Chris Klein (American Pie) will be Chris/Nash. Other actors joining the cast include Rick Yune (Die Another Day, The Fast and the Furious), Moon Bloodgood (Journeyman, Eight Below) and Taboo (Black Eyed Peas).

Helmed by DOOM director Andrzej Bartkowiak, Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li is set to begin filming next month, with the theatrical release expected in 2009.

Horrible choice to cast Kruek as Chun Li. Obviously this director, and anyone responsible for the casting of this movie has never played the original streetfighter game, or he/they would know that Chun Li is known for her deadly thunder thighs. That was her trademark for $hitsake! Kristin Kreuk has no leg muscle whatsoever, she's an f'king waif skeleton, and isn't enough woman to play even one of Chun Li's legs. Go back to the drawing board, and cast a REAL Chun Li!

This movie is shit before they even started making it, why? because how many video game inspired movies are actually good? The only people who will enjoy this movie are the geeks who spent 100 straight hours of their life trying to beat the game
