Wii Virtual Console Adds A Pair Of Sequels
by Maarten Goldstein, Feb 18, 2008 6:05am PSTNintendo has announced that today's Wii Virtual Console additions are Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom and Phantasy Star II. The two games will be available in the Wii Shop Channel at 12PM EST/11AM CST.
A 1991 NES release, the action platformer Ninja Gaiden III has you playing as Ryu Hayabusa, framed for the murder of an FBI agent. For 500 Wii Points ($5) you get to fight plenty of bad guys while trying to clear your name.
For 800 Wii Points ($8) you can get your hands on the 1990 Sega Genesis release Phantasy Star II, which is regarded as one of the finest console games ever made.

The chief editor for one of the best Swedish gaming mags has been pining for this release for quite a while now, I bet he'll be thrilled if/when it comes to Europe :(
