New Street Fighter 4 Character Revealed

In advance of the Street Fighter IV's playable debut at the AOU 2008 Amusement Expo, Capcom has unveiled screenshots and artwork of Abel, an entirely new character in the series.

An amnesiac with no memory of his past, Abel is "not the misanthrope he seems to be" according to Capcom's official description. His fighting style represents a mixture of various martial arts.

No platforms have been announced for Street Fighter IV. For more information, check out the recent rash of gameplay details and keep an eye out for hands-on impressions from your friendly ShackStaff next week.

Oh awesome a MMA fighter!!! I was waiting for SF to have more of those because Ken, Ryu, Dan, Sakura, Guy and Akuma dont really flesh out the roster too well. I cant wait to see what color his QCF+P fireball is.
