Deadly Creatures Announced for Wii
by Chris Faylor, Feb 14, 2008 2:25pm PSTPublisher THQ today announced Deadly Creatures, a spider-filled Wii-exclusive action title under development at THQ subsidiary Rainbow Studios.
According to the company, the game depicts "a venomous world of terror" filled with "vicious Gila monsters, tarantula wasps, black widows, and the most dangerous predator of all--Man." It is expected to arrive later this year.
Past titles from Rainbow Studios include the decidedly more innocent ATV vs. MX Untamed and
Cars Mater-National Championship.
"With brutal motion-controlled combat, a dark, compelling story and some of the best visuals to date on the Wii, we are excited to bring Deadly Creatures to a large core Wii audience that hungers for a new experience," said executive producer Nick Wlodyka.
