Nintendo has been forced to deal with everything from clever knock-off products to outright piracy of its video games and consoles over the years. One would think that the Wii console, with its innovative motion-sensing technology, might be immune to this sort of thing.

Nope.

Dr. Ashens, accented reviewer of video game oddities, brings us this review of the Chintendo Vii, a not-so-subtle Chinese Wii copy-cat.

Games include several Wii Sports wannabes, in addition to a 7-in-1 cartridge with numerous rip-offs of classic arcade titles. Surprisingly, Ashens has a bit of fun with some of the games.

However, overall, it seems the thing is just plain rubbish.

I like the stuff this guy does. Interesting to see all these more or less crappy knockoffs that's out there. :) This one was surprisingly good! :)

Yeah, I want through all his reviews a while back and they're pretty fantastic. The funny thing is this is the first knockoff he's reviewed that actually seemed to have some merit.

This guy is great. He's sort of the opposite of Yahtzee and AVGN, taking a well-mannered approach to reviewing bad products rather than a vulgar one. Still funny though.
