Street Fighter 4 Pics Feature Returning Veterans

i don't like all these funky angles and stuff.... if the game plays in 2d, lets have 2d shots...

The initial teaser video released for this game got me quite excited...but these in-game screenshots do nothing for me. It looks like Street Fighter...in 3D. How long has it been now since the last SF game? How many SF games have there been? It's sad to me that instead of pushing the art in a fresh and unique direction, as the teaser implied, they've simply added a 3rd dimension to the original 2D game.

Like...what's the point, and where's the artistry?

This is a pre-release fear of the game, I might feel differently after experiencing the final product. Right now though, it feels to me that this is a result of someone thinking "hey, there are no SF games on any current-gen consoles, so noone will be playing SF on them. We'd better get a SF game done for one of them, so the franchise will not die!".

Hah, yes! The look on Blanka's face while being leg sweeped is spot on

these shots really are coming together. There are a few that are down right pretty. I can't wait.

I really hated the new look when they put the first shots out, but now with a bit more TLC and some of the effects in place, the visual side is really starting to come together, I think.

Chun-Li has man-hands, though.

They look snazzy, but all the SF2 vets seem to have the same moves. It's sad, but I do have almost every SF2 animation memorized, and all of them look to be replicated here.

Capcom, we're already getting an SF2 remake for XBLA. Give the vets some new moves, please.

God I fucking hate that complaint. IT'S A FIGHTING GAME, I DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT THE SPECTATORS IN THE BACKGROUND.
