I thought Tiberian sun was the first nail in the coffin of an otherwise excellent series. Now'adays the only good RTS are Age of empires or Dawn of war. The new C&C games remind me too much of some space game, ala Universe at war, which was fun for the first few missions, but then the spacey feel just made it..Bleh.
It lacks the Umph it had in my opinion. Now it's all flashy lights, robots and bullcrap.
Paradoxally the best thing I think Westwood could do at this point is do a new Dune game with the C&C engine. Make the game Dune 2000 should have been. -

it started off that way at luanch, to be sure, but a few months in the strats changed to the point where even the obscure units were being used to full effect. Once people realized that a mixed force was much stronger than a single or double pronged attack, you stopped seeing so much of the 1 unit attacks, especially when defensive structures are mixed in.
