Discs of Tron Hits XBLA Feb. 13
by Chris Faylor, Feb 08, 2008 8:12am PSTMidway's Discs of Tron will arrive in the Xbox 360's online Xbox Live Arcade next Wednesday, February 13, publisher Disney Interactive Studios announced today.
Initially released in 1983, the arcade game is built around the Pong-like life-or-derez sport glimpsed in the inspirational 1982 film Tron. The modern rendition was handled by Backbone Charlotte, and features enhanced graphics and sound.
No price point was revealed, though the earlier re-release of the first Tron arcade game sold for 400 Microsoft Points ($5). Announced in May 2006, both Tron and Discs of Tron were originally expected to hit Xbox Live Arcade last summer.
