PlayStation Store Update: Go! Sports Skydiving, Lost Planet Demo, Rock Band DLC
by Aaron Linde, Feb 07, 2008 2:27pm PSTIt's that magical time of the week for PlayStation 3 owners; a new game, a new demo and the standard roundup of downloadable content for Harmonix's Rock Band (PS3, X360) hit the PlayStation Store today.
Lightweight's Go! Sports Skydiving is the latest addition to the PlayStation Store's downloadable games lineup. The game utilizes Sixaxis motion controls to allow players pull off tricks as they plummet from the sky. Go! Sports Skydiving sports several single-player modes as well as online multiplayer, and will run gamers $4.99.
As always, the previously announced Rock Band DLC is now available on the PlayStation Store, which includes Faith No More's "We Care A Lot," the B-52s' "Roam," and "Calling Dr. Love" by Kiss at $1.99 a pop.
A demo of the PlayStation 3 version of Capcom's Lost Planet has also been added to the store. The PS3 version is scheduled for a February 26 release and includes all of the downloadable content available in the Xbox 360 version.
Finally, Naughty Dog's Crash Bandicoot: Warped (PSX) is now a part of the store's PSX classics line-up. Warped was the final third and final title in the platforming series to be developed by Naughty Dog, original creators of Crash Bandicoot.
