Assassin's Creed PC Contains Bonus Missions
by Chris Faylor, Feb 06, 2008 10:25am PSTThe forthcoming PC release of Ubisoft Montreal's pre-meditated murder simulator Assassin's Creed (PS3, X360) will contain exclusive bonus missions not found within the console editions, Ubisoft has revealed.
Dubbed Assassin's Creed Director's Cut Edition, the PC versions will feature four new mission types, perhaps only possible on the platform due to the game's absurdly high system requirements. No further details were provided, though Ubisoft boasted that the content allows "even more ways for players to explore the various locations of the Third Crusade."
Assassin's Creed on the PC is expected to arrive in Europe and North America. Ubisoft has previously noted its intent to ship the title within it current fiscal quarter, which ends March 31, 2008.

I'm still going to wait for this version and remain cautiously optimistic. This is one of those games everybody really has to try themselves because it's very polarizing.

Extra Mission 2: Gather intelligence through eavesdropping, pick pocketing, or killing guards to assist an informant. After collecting 3 pieces of info you must then assassinate a target.

Haha, for some reason that made me laugh. ;)
After watching it on the PS3 though I'm not sure I'd want this. It's pretty and fun at times, but looks like it gets repetitive. I also wouldn't want to go hunting for all that bonus stuff, seems like overkill.
