Here's Mitt Romney's response to a question about video game regulation. Easily the harshest. Obama's answers are also there, the only other candidate still in the race who answered.

Question: To date, nearly 10 states have considered legislation to keep violent video games out of kids' hands. Would you support this type of legislation at the federal level? What other strategies would you support to keep the video game industry and other media companies from marketing and selling inappropriate content to children?

Mitt Romney, R-MA: I want to restore values so children are protected from a societal cesspool of filth, pornography, violence, sex, and perversion. I've proposed that we enforce our obscenity laws again and that we get serious against those retailers that sell adult video games that are filled with violence and that we go after those retailers.

I like the shackcast and listen to it every week, but please stop talking about guitar hero/ rockband. There's so many other games out for pc, consoles and portables to talk about. But every week someone has to mention either rock band or guitar hero or both. It's boring.

Good to hear that Crysis is doing better sales-wise. Thats a game I really really really enjoyed and I was hoping it would do well, because it honestly deserved to do really well. I will probably play through it at least a few more times in the next couple months.

I feel bad now because I fell asleep immediately when you started talking about No More Heroes and woke up when I heard the end credits. I will try again Monday when I am at work and not laying on my couch when I am tired on a Friday after work. :(

The new section and musical intros are awesome.

Looking forward to the gushing over No More Heroes when I listen to this tonight while at work. On my second run-through and it's everything a game should be. Well, maybe not the overworld, but the spirit and fun of the game is totally pure and not forced.
