March Rock Band DLC Includes NIN, Metallica, Sabbath, Skynyrd, Iron Maiden, More (Updated)
by Chris Faylor, Jan 31, 2008 1:05pm PSTUpdate: A spokesperson for MTV Games and Harmonix has informed Shacknews that OXM's March DLC calendar "is a tentative schedule and subject to change."
"Please stay tuned for confirmation of Rock Band DLC closer to their release," the representative noted.
Original Story: The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 editions of Harmonix's Rock Band will soon receive such long-requested tracks as Metallica's "Fuel" and Nine Inch Nails' "March of the Pigs" and "The Perfect Drug" along with more tracks from Black Sabbath, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Iron Maiden, and others.
Word of the songs emerged from the latest issue of Official Xbox Magazine, which contained a calendar detailing all of the downloadable content scheduled for March. Each track is expected to sell at the traditional rate of 160 Microsoft Points ($1.99), with the occasional three-song bundle offering a slight savings at 440 Microsoft Points ($5.49).
Shacknews has contact Harmonix for more information and confirmation of the schedule. Read on for the full list.
