Tiberium Announcement Trailer Available

Why does EA advertise so much? I was playing Need for Speed Pro Street and the first logo is EA and you CAN'T skip it then when the others come up it's no problem. Or like in Crysis, can't skip EA but skip anyone else.

I hope it's like C&C Renegade... I really enjoyed that game!

I'm going to play the asshole here and ask: Is Command & Conquer still relevant?

Don't get me wrong, I loved my C&C and my Red Alert (and Red Alert 2? Ooooo yes!), but with everything that Blizzard and Codemasters and... hell, even Nintendo (Pikmin) have brought to the RTS genre, and how the gamescape has changed since the series' inception.... do they still matter? I'm all for watching everyone's favorite camptacular q-ball jingoist preach the gospel of Nod, but at this point the story is so damn convoluted it's turned into a soap opera. Tell me this, is Kane dead or alive? Is he even human any more? I have a feeling that this might be just a matter of EA doing its usual flogging of dead horses.

But then again... sometimes they twitch... I doubt it will... but here's hoping.

I know this reveals me as a Hellgate player, but...

The way his gun folds out - looks EXACTLY like the Grizzly/Grinder weapons from HGL. His helmet also looks the same as some of the concept art.

Was the art done by Massive Black or something? Are they allowed to recycle their ideas?

The way he twirls that helmet and handles that gun looks very satisfying and lifelike to me. Might just be me, but that looks kinda awesome!

Huh, trailer loads but the flash icon just keeps spinning. I was able to play the GRAW2 video just fine.

I really want this to be good :(
