  • I think I know what's going on in the TF2 video.

    It's too low rez to tell for certain, but if you go fullscreen you can see a small blot at the edge of the ramp down to the BLU base. The head of a BLU player coming into view as they ascend the ramp, presumably. The sniper clearly aims for that blot, and shoots the spy accidentally. I'm guessing he was probably dueling with a BLU sniper and it's the sniper edging up the ramp slowly to get a shot into the RED battlements.

    Incidentally, that map is asstastic. It's far too large and decentralized. It's too big even on a 32 player server.
