Rock Band Oasis Song Pack Hits XBLM

Three new downloadable tracks are now available for the Xbox 360 version of Harmonix's Rock Band via the platform's online Xbox Live Marketplace.

This week's tracks are "Don't Look Back in Anger," "Live Forever" and "Wonderwall," all performed by britpop act Oasis. As always, the songs sell individually for 160 Microsoft Points ($2). A three-song bundle is being offered as well, passing along a slight savings at 440 Microsoft Points ($5.50).

Owners of Rock Band on PlayStation 3 will get the chance to belt out "I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about you now" later this week following the online PlayStation Store's regular Thursday update.

Harmonix has also confirmed that next week's offerings will, as previously reported, consist of more tracks from Coheed and Cambria, Smashing Pumpkins and Rush. However, the company was quick to point out that next week's tracks will not be sold in a bundle and will only be available for individual purchase.

Seriously. It's a bit annoying. I know it's only 2 days, but it just seems a bit unnecessary. If Microsoft can deliver content any day of the week, then Sony shouldn't have problems doing it either!

It's just because Sony only updates the store once a week.
