Mutant Storm Empire DLC, No New XBLA Title This Week; Microsoft Details XBLA Awards
Despite the lack of a new title, Wednesday will see the debut of new downloadable content for PomPom Games' Mutant Storm Empire, though no additional details were provided.

The company also unveiled the details on its first-ever Xbox Live Arcade Awards, which allows Microsoft and gamers alike the chance to recognize noteworthy Xbox Live Arcade titles. Voting for select categories will take place at Xbox.com from 2AM PST on Tuesday, January 22 until 11:59PST on Wednesday, January 30.
Categories open to public vote include Best Overall Arcade Game, Best Classic Game, Best Original Game, Best Family Friendly Game, Best Competitive Multiplayer Game, and Best Cooperative Multiplayer Game. The selections were compiled by a panel of journalists, and the winners will be announced at this year's Game Developers Conference in February.
