The first significant content update for paying subscribers to Flagship Studios' action-MMO Hellgate: London will be hitting this Monday, January 21, the team announced today.

Titled "The Stonehenge Chronicles," the update will add a large outdoor hub accessed via a portal in the Templar Base.

New areas include four dungeons in the Caste Caves, along with a follow-up quest into Moloch's Lair to defeat the "imposing minion" for the chance at a unique item. The Wild will provide three mini-raid areas that grow progressively more difficult.

"The Stonehenge Chronicles also includes many of the other updates the Hellgate: London community has been asking for, including improvements to game UI, a large number of skill balance changes, a PvP dueling arena and more," adds the release.

  • I paid for the collector before I got into the beta. After messing around with it for a month I forgot all about the fact that it came to my house. Sat there for a month before I opened it up and installed the new release.

Still same bugs as before. 2 months later they finally patch a few things that make playing an engineer easier and more enjoyable (log out all stats gone, drone shoots walls, etc). Now they promised content packs every month and I was gung ho for it, then month 1 goes by and nothing. 2 nothing. 3 and we finally get this content which is blah.

I was going to get founders but then I realized this is a still born version of a diablo type clone with boring transitions between chapters, plot lines that are confusing, npc's that still want to have constant sex with me, and just stupid repetitive (not in a good way) gameplay.

Sorry this isn't Service Pack 1. Still not paying for your content. Call me when you get closer.
