First Official Screens From GarageGames' Web-based Fallen Empires: Legions Released
by Chris Remo, Jan 16, 2008 11:13pm PSTDeveloper GarageGames has sent over the first official screenshots from its upcoming browser-based action game Fallen Empires: Legions. Alpha video footage of the game was leaked last month. It is said to draw inspiration from Dynamix's multiplayer classic StarSiege: Tribes, a game on which numerous GarageGames founders worked.
Fallen Empires: Legions is part of GarageGames' partnership with InstantAction.com, a service that plans to bring action games to browser-based interfaces, hopefully bridging the gap between dedicated hardcore gaming and more casual PC gaming. Shacknews' Chris Faylor reported on InstantAction.com's goals and several of its upcoming titles late last year.

Also, I like that they are sticking to building on the core and getting it right, but please GG, dont get all whack over TribalWar's opinion. I like classic style and a good platform for man on man competition and pubbing, but I hope the intent is to also bring on some of the more tactical play later which "would" include a few "balanced" vehicles and some deployables. Tribes 2 really was a great game. It just turned off so many because they nerfed everything to hell when they released it.
Looks great so far GG.
