Rock Band to Receive Oasis Song Pack, More Tracks from Coheed, Rush and Smashing Pumpkins
by Chris Faylor, Jan 16, 2008 3:43pm PSTEnglish rock group Oasis is set to debut in Harmonix's Rock Band (PS2, PS3, X360) later this month, according to a now-edited page on Xbox.com.
The site, which no longer lists specific tracks but still makes reference to Oasis, detailed an Oasis Pack--containing "Don't Look Back in Anger," "Live Forever," and "Wonderwall"--hitting the Xbox Live Marketplace next week.
The page also mentioned a multi-artist Progressive Pack, including covers of Rush's "Working Man" and Coheed and Cambria's "Ten Speed (Of God's Blood and Burial)" along with a master track recording of "Siva" by Smashing Pumpkins, releasing the week of January 29.
Each track will sell individually for 160 Microsoft Points ($2), with the three-song packs offering a slight savings at 440 Microsoft Points ($5.50). Tracks and packs in the online PlayStation Store carry similar prices; $1.99 a song, $5.49 a pack.
In past weeks, downloadable Rock Band content has been made available for the Xbox 360 edition on Tuesdays, followed by a PlayStation 3 release via the online Playstation Store on Thursdays.

once they are all out. because its sweet really to buy most of the songs, but you cant try them first, so its hard to say how they will play out.
