Seoul-based developer Reloaded Studios has sent along some concept art of The Day, its forthcoming CryENGINE 2-powered PC MMO.

Said to feature "a wickedly interconnected time-traveling storyline" and focus on on action-based combat, The Day is slated for a 2010 release.

The concept and style seems really interesting and new to the MMO genre so I will definitely start having to keeps tabs on this game. Kind of curious how they will handle actions in the past having an effect on the future with so many players running around.

The fortified Arc de Triomphe is really neat, but the wooden ships refitted with fancy (and recoil-heavy) weaponry kind of doesn't make enough sense or have enough visual flair to really justify it. :(

MMO?! NOOOOOOO WHYYYYYYYY?! :( It'll never happen. I think all MMOs are doomed to fail until the world truly tires of WoW ... sometime in 2108. The investment is just too huge, especially to be introducing untried new gameplay mechanics.

Here's hoping for a single player game with a wicked storyline instead.
