Better than I expected. As in they got a whole lot more story and character development in there than I thought they would considering the way it was filmed. The monster is pretty bad ass, and you get a pretty good look at it by the end. I really like how they did something different and didn't follow the same formulas.
Having said all that there were 2 lots of teenagers sitting behind us, and when the movie finished they both said, "THAT WAS SHIT", "WTF?" "THAT'S FUCKED". Morons.
