Morning Discussion

Howdy there Shackers. A bit of a later start today, I think there's a flu bug going around and it has my name. :( And then we have to wake up to news like Smash Bros being delayed, but at least there's new pretty pictures from the DotA-inspired Demigod. So what do you guys think of Sam and Max perhaps going to the Wii? Publishers do love them some bandwagoning on successful projects, and with the Wii's lower development costs, maybe adventure games could be attractive again?

Did anyone else read the Redwall books? I imagine there's probably like 50 of them by now. However I don't think I ever made it past Pearls of Lutra or The Long Patrol.

Yea they're pretty good if you're in a certain age group.

I read a few but not in a real order - I've been thinking about picking them up from the beginning strangely enough...

I loved those books! Mossflower was my favorite.

I read the hell out of those as a teenager. Then I realized that all the ones that dealt with the mice were the same damn story over and over again. The Hares and Badgers were the best ones though.

Hell yeah. I credit those books in large part with my interest in reading and general nerdery. Eventually I got tired of them (and fantasy books in general), but I still have the hardcovers on my shelf.

This is strange. I had completely forgotten about reading those books. I don't even know which ones I have read. Except maybe mossflower that name seems so familiar.

I've read maybe 7 or 8 of them. I decided at some point that I was not willing to devote my life to keeping up with Redwall books.

Hijack. At what point does reading books about furry animals with human personalities become furry fiction?
