Atari: Alone in the Dark Delay a Rumor
by Aaron Linde, Jan 14, 2008 2:43pm PSTA representative of Atari has dismissed speculation that Eden Games' Alone in the Dark (PC, PS2, PS3, X360, Wii) has been delayed to September.
When reached for comment regarding a possible delay, an Atari spokesperson said, "Please treat this as a rumor as there is no official confirmation from Atari."
The rumor began circulating late last week, when Games For Windows magazine featured Alone in the Dark in an article of infamous delayed or cancelled games, listing the title's most current release window as September of this year.
The denial puts Alone in the Dark back within the release window of publisher Atari's current fiscal year, which ends March 31, 2008.
