Stargate Worlds Teaser Trailer
The first Stargate Worlds teaser trailer, first shown on the Sci-Fi channel a couple of days ago, is now available online. No release date has been announced for the Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment MMO, which is based on the now-cancelled Stargate SG-1 and the Stargate Atlantis spin off.

Whether it does or doesn't see the light of day is the minor issue. Although the demand is high, damn near every mmorpg that ventured into the sci-fi genre has been a major let-down.
Once gun combat is added into the picture the gameplay usually falls apart due to devs trying to incorporate combat mechanics found in rpgs instead of using the tried and true combat found in your typical fps.
Mass Effect is a perfect example.-
EVE Online seems to be the shining example of a successful sci-fi MMO. Granted, it might not be for everyone, but they've been doing quite well and have managed to create a rather vibrant in-game economy.
