Tron and Omega Five on Xbox Live Arcade Wed.

Backbone's HD-enhanced port of the original Tron arcade game will join the Natsume's 2D shooter Omega Five on Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday, January 9.

Announced for Xbox Live Arcade last May, Tron's four mini-games have been enhanced with two person online co-op and versus.

A concrete release date has yet to be announced for the XBLA version of Discs of Tron, though it is expected shortly.

Tron will cost 400 Microsoft Points ($5), while Omega Five, as previously confirmed, will sell for 800 Microsoft Points ($10).

I saw the Tron logo and got all excited. Nope, this isn't Tron 3.0 like I had hoped. It's more like Tron .03.

TRON isn't TRON unless you're using the joystick and spinner. I can't even imagine trying to play it with a 360 controller.
