Ubisoft Reveals Red Steel 2 Coming in 2008
by Carlos Bergfeld, Dec 28, 2007 10:30am PSTA sequel to Ubisoft Paris' Wii launch title Red Steel will be coming some time next year, according to the latest issue of the UK's Official Nintendo Magazine as reported by Gaming Target.
Currently in development, the game has yet to be officially named. The title will supposedly boast "better controls, better AI, better multiplayer and online play," according to the magazine. Critics panned the first game for its awkward use of the Wii's motion sensitive controller, among other flaws.
Many already speculated a sequel was in the works after Official Nintendo Magazine teased its current preview of the game in a prior issue with hints pointing to a continuation of the Red Steel series. Ubisoft has yet to release an official announcement of the title.

For all it's faults, it was still a fun game. I had a great time battling Yakuza and training in the campy looking sword dojo. That, the side-ways gangsta-style gat holding was super fun... for some reason, I never got tired of that.
My big wishlist for the sequel:
1) Multiplayer online
2) More maps online
3) Better sword play
4) CUT-SCENE SKIPPING FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.
