    They made it worse though. Where as before you could keep trying the burning laps if you fucked up (and to get gold I sometimes had to do this many many times) now you can't. You have to drive 3 minutes back to the start to select the race again. The load times were never 3 minutes long.
    
    On top of that, the fact that you can't warp around the city to the start of an event is a HUGE oversight in my opinion. I don't want to aimlessly fuck about in the city. I don't want to do ramps and tricks, I want to select the race and race it. If I lose, I want to do it again. The "open world" adds NO benefit and ADDS many many caveats.
