But like you mentioned going as fast as you can, trying not to crash while trying to take out your buddies, to me thats the core of the Burnout game experience and thats what I mean by "crashing".
Sure sometimes I will purposefully nail a car for the hell of it, mainly because well, as far as I know, there really is no huge penalty for it, or at least none to be taken too seriously. But for me yeah its about going crazy fast, going off jumps trying to mail out my opponents.
