Guitar Hero 3 Wii Mono Sound to be Remedied with Free Remastered Game Discs
by Nick Breckon, Dec 07, 2007 4:34am PSTFollowing complaints that the Wii version of Neversoft and Vicarious Visions' Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock
outputs only mono sound, publisher Activision has announced that free remastered game discs will be offered to owners by early 2008.
"We recently became aware that some consumers have not been able to enjoy the full audio output in the Nintendo Wii version of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock," said Activision's Rhy-Ming Poon to IGN.
"We are currently working with Nintendo and are planning to issue an improved audio experience in future versions of the game," continued Poon. "We expect to have re-mastered discs available by early 2008 and we will be offering consumers replacement discs at no cost once they become available. We thank all of our customers for their support and patience."

That implies that some have... Was it PR bullshit to insert the word "some" into that sentence or are only some copies of the game in mono?
