First Twisted Metal: Head On PS2 Screens, Trailer

The first images and trailer of Eat Sleep Play's debut project, Twisted Metal: Head On: Extra Twisted Edition (PS2), have arrived via the official PlayStation blog.

Described by Eat Sleep Play co-founder David Jaffe as a "love letter to Twisted Metal fans old and new," TM:HO:ETE is a drastically upgraded and enhanced port of Incognito's Twisted Metal: Head On (PSP), featuring new levels and graphics.

"I thought I was burnt out on the whole franchise but the second I sat down to design, it was like coming home," said God of War (PS2) and Calling All Cars (PS3) creator Jaffe. "It's been so much fun!"

I hope they advertise this, because just dropping it in stores and assuming fans will find it is not the way to go. Twisted Metal sort dropped off the radar after Black which was really early in the life of the PS2. People need to be reminded and reintroduced the series. If they push it I think it will be a huge hit because Twisted Metal is a great franchise. Hopefully it won't get abused and taken for granted again.
