  • The demo was really short and didn't give any big indication of how it plays out but...

    The Good;
    The hierarchy walker units were cool as they stomped across the map wiping everything out.
    Looks like at least some attempts to differentiate the various units in each faction.
    The briefing felt a bit like starcraft 1 which isn't a bad thing.

    The Bad;
    The camera controls are awful, the window scrolls two slow , the camera does not pan out far enough for what you actually need especially with the walkers because they are so large.
    The unit selection is flaky, the hierarchy walkers are never selected when you drag a box over them so they must be manually controlled & all the infantry units never seem to be selected when you want them to be.

    The Ugly;
    The graphics are at the same time quite good for the units but bad also, couldn't put my finger on it but I think it was the maps rather than the units just looked so bland maybe the demo shipped with low res textures as everything was set to max in the graphics menu
    AA didn't work despite being enabled in the graphics menu on top of that.

    Definitely a game not yet ready to ship needs to spend more time in the oven.
